Choo Choo... Brayden is TWO!

Reflecting back on the last 2 years brings a huge smile to my face.  Our lives forever changed 2 years ago with the arrival of our crazy little addition.  We received the cutest, goofiest, happiest, sweetest, most amazing little blessing August 30, 2010.  He makes us laugh every day, I couldn't imagine for one second out lives without him.

Watching him grow has been the greatest gift.  He is so outgoing, he will say hi to anyone (then jabber in baby Chinese for a good while).  He is super funny, always doing the goofiest things!  He also loves to dance, anytime he hears a beat, music, or even someone hiccuping, he's dancing!  He is also teeny tiny... he's the average size of a 12-18 month old.. but he's strong, and as healthy as can be.  His big blue eyes are the first things someone points out about him.  Oh Brayden David, he is my baby.

We had such a wonderful birthday party for him over the weekend.  He had so much fun, and enjoyed having his friends and family together.  The gifts and treats were a wonderful addition too.  Enjoy the pictures.

Post Party Pictures.

Brayden's 2nd birthday party was on Saturday.  I am going to post his birthday party pictures tomorrow.  I just wanted to share a few after party pics.

Scooters.

What to get a 2 year old for his birthday?  Well... leave it up to Daddy and Grandpa to figure out something amazing.  They went to Lowe's to pick up the hardware for their project and quickly got to work.  They made the most amazing wheely-scooter-car thing I have ever seen.  We all knew Brayden would enjoy it so much more if Leah had one too, so they made two.

I never imagined they would have so much fun, but they were exhausted by the end of the night.  They zoomed, crashed, raced, and spun.  It was way too much fun.  Cavan and I decided we were going to have a design war.  He was going to "design" Brayden's and I was going to "design" Leah's.  We had only duct tape, and about an hour.  I have to say, Cavan blew mine out of the water... but it was a blast.

Putt Putt

Every single time we pass the mini golfing place, Leah begs to go golfing.  We had a gorgeous morning, and decided to take advantage of it.  We were a little nervous to start, but it was a lot of fun.  I only got hit with the club a few times.  Brayden loved running around, and Leah went crazy with putting.  It was so much fun.

After a nice nap and a filling lunch, Brayden begged (I mean BEGGED) Grandpa to color.  Brayden loves to color... and really loves to color with Grandpa!  The giggles and fun the kids were having was too cute to pass up.  These truly are some of my favorite pictures.  

Every time I change Brayden's diaper, he freaks out... He hates it!  The only way he will hold still is to pretend he is hiding under his Lightning McQueen stool... it not only is very awkward, but it's quite funny looking!  I should have updated a couple days ago, because the last few days are a blur, enjoy the pictures!
