Circus.

Leah has a love for animals that compares to mine.  I have always loved animals.  When we found out the circus was in town, we decided to take her!  This was very special for Leah, she got to go to the circus with Mommy and Daddy alone.  Grandma watched Brayden (snif snif), the first time I have left Brayden (by the way, he did great).  We pulled up to the circus and saw a big elephant right away.  Leah was beaming with excitement.

I was nervous she might be afraid, but she did great.  She was a little timid at first, but she started clapping, laughing at the clowns, and she even wanted to ride the elephant (which we didn't let her.. mean parents, I know).  We spent a small fortune on tiny boxes of popcorn, a very small baggie of cotton candy, and a bottle of water, but Leah was so happy.  She very much enjoyed her first encounter with cotton candy, after thinking it was something to throw, she inhaled it!

Leah can't stop talking about the elephants, camels, horsies, doggies, and tigers.  She really had a great time.  With all that being said, I don't think I will ever go to a circus again.  I guess as a child, you see all the pretty, fun, and  adorable things that go along with a circus; but as an adult, you see how sad and scared some of the animals look.  As fun as it was, it was a little heart breaking as well - but we sure enjoyed some quality time with our little Leah!
