Jungle.

We met up with a friend today and went to Ripley’s Aquarium.  Anna has a 2 year old daughter, Alexa.  At first Leah kept talking about her friend, “Alaska”, but she quickly learned her name correctly.  As we walked in the door Brayden started talking.  He was so excited and loved watching the fish.  He would make noises that sounded like he was saying, “Wow!  Woah!  Ohhh!”  It was adorable.  Leah enjoyed almost everything.  They have a new predator exhibit that we had to skip because she got a little frightened.

The girls were so cute together.  They kept showing each other the different colored fish, holding hands, and playing with the gift shop toys together.  Their favorite part was at the end.  They kept calling it the “jungle” and wanted to stay there.  It was cute.  Leah really enjoyed it and actually cried for a minute when it was time to go home.

Brayden fell right to sleep when we got home and slept for 3 hours.  To my surprise Leah skipped her nap.  She keeps talking about Alexa and the jungle.  Apparently we need to go back soon.

Leah has been enjoying painting so much lately.  A small case of 6 paints can keep her occupied for more than an hour.  She cannot get enough of it.  We painted outside on her picnic table while Brayden played with his blocks.  It isn’t always easy keeping him away from her projects, but he’s a pretty good sport about it.  Enjoy the pictures!!

Brayden wore shoes for the first time today!!

He was SO excited to see the fish.

I am in love with this picture. Leah is such a good sister.

Silly girl, I told her to open and show me her hands.. she opened her mouth too.
