still stuffy, but getting better.

Leah was sick, then Brayden was sick, and now I am sick.  Brayden had it less than Leah, and I think I have it less than both of them.  They were all snotty and coughing, and I have a mild cough and a throat that is scratchy.  Other than that, I feel fine.  Since we haven't been feeling 100% we have been staying home, which means we have been doing a lot of projects to keep the kiddos busy.

The kids have been enjoying all of Daddy's new toys for them.  He built a frame for the slide inside the house, brought the mini trampoline inside, and they've been loving the swing and bar.  We have been reading tons of books (a favorite of Brayden's lately).  Since the weather has been wonderful, we've been enjoying some fresh air playing in the leaves too.

Leah begged to do some fun projects, so we played with vinegar and baking soda and watched it bubble.  She thought this was amazing.  She honestly couldn't believe she was allowed to do it by herself.  It was really fun to watch.

Brayden has a mild obsession with the dog water.  He is to the age now where he knows he isn't supposed to play with it, but it is oh-so-tempting.  He walked right up to it yesterday and looked right at me.  I said, "Brayden, no-no, that is yucky.".  He looked at me, smirked and shook his head no.  He had wonderful self control for about 3 minutes, then it was too much to take.  He is so funny and is learning so many new things.  He knows how to give a high five, blow kisses, clap and say, "yay!!!", and he can even say "all done!".  He is wonderful and so cute.

Daddy made a tornado with 2 soda bottles.  Leah thought it was amazing.  She was fascinated with the orange water at first, but once she saw the tornado, she thought it was wonderful.  She kept telling Daddy, "AGAIN!!!".  Brayden just wanted to eat it.

Today, Leah and I gathered our favorite leaves and she made a beautiful collage on a piece of contact paper taped sticky side out onto the door.  She asked for feathers too, so it actually turned out really pretty.  She kept telling me it was for Grandma.

Leah is so in love with our pets.  She is especially attached to Delko.  They are two peas in a pod.  He looks after her, plays with her, snuggles with her, and occasionally knocks her over.  She loves Delko.  Delko loves Leah.  So cute!

I was nursing Brayden on the sofa today while Leah was watching a video next to me.  She stopped watching and leaned over touching Brayden's forehead with her forehead while slowly stroking his hair and said, "Good job, Buddy.  You so special.  I wuve you."  I just about melted.  She is turning into such an amazing person. She has such a special heart and I love watching my two precious babies interact.  I love my kids!
