Snow.

It actually snowed in Myrtle Beach.  The kids woke up this morning shouting, "Snow!  Look!  Look!  Snow, snow, snow!!!".  They were more than excited.  We even went outside at 7am to play in the crunchy snow covered grass.  I cannot imagine what Leah and Brayden would do in Michigan!  They really had a blast.  Enjoy the pictures from yesterday and this morning playing!

Love.

The last 2 weeks have been a blur, between family visiting, getting sick, and Valentine's Day, we've kept ourselves busy.  Thankfully, we're all feeling back to 100% and we're ready to take on the weekend!  Pizza Friday is always extra exciting as the kids love pizza, and I love not having to cook dinner!  We're excited for the next few weeks to unfold and are anxiously awaiting our next big adventure.

Leah and Brayden enjoyed having their cousin, Aubrey over to visit.  Seeing all 3 of them play together was adorable, and although there were a few "I-don't-want-to-share" moments, they had a wonderful time together. It's really fun to see Aubrey interact with both Brayden and Leah.  The girls, of course, play with all the girly things.. tea party, Tinkers, Barbies, and dolls.  Brayden and Aubrey are closer in age than Leah and Aubrey, so they seem to be on the same page.  They had a blast running around and giggling.

After our fun long weekend with Aunt Cassie and Aubrey, Brayden started not feeling well.  The next day, after Brayden started feeling better, Cavan got sick.  The day after Cavan started feeling better, I got sick.  I am sure you guessed it, the day after I started feeling better, Leah got sick.  Leah got it the worst, and the virus lasted 3-4 days.  It was not a fun week, but we survived and our immune systems are working better than ever!

The weather has been consistently in the 50's-60's.  The few days after we were all feeling better it was raining quite a bit.  We all know rain makes puddles, and puddles produce mud.  Brayden is drawn to anything that makes him dirty.  He had a blast, and even our little Leah got involved.  I had to dart inside to find my camera to get a few fun pictures.

Leah loves the concept of celebrating and decorating for every holiday.  She loved making heart shaped rice krispy treats, making valentines, and the entire concept of a day for treats and love.  Unfortunately, sugar and Leah don't do well together... it was fun for an entire 30 minutes before the sugar kicked in, and she was emotional.  We've decided our holiday celebrations will not be with any sugary treats anymore.  She would have had a perfect day yesterday had she not eaten the sugar.  Lesson learned.  Next time we'll have fun prizes or something instead!
