8 months.

I was standing in line today at Target while Brayden was smiling and cooing at anyone who would look at him.  I was asked by 3 people how old he was.  I told them he was 7 months, and went on my way.  As I got into the car, I looked at my phone and it said the 30th.  What?!  Could he really be 8 months old today??

For some reason, Brayden is getting older much faster than I remember with Leah.  He is so amazing.  Honestly, I cannot think of a better word to describe Brayden.  He is the squishiest, sweetest, most lovable baby ever.  His eyes are so gentle and kind.  He is amazing.

While I was nursing him before bed tonight he wouldn't stop staring at me.  Every time I would even glance at him he would stop nursing, and give me a huge grin.  I honestly had to stop looking at him because I was afraid he wouldn't eat enough.  I just kept thinking how amazingly blessed I am.

My kids are indescribable, I am so madly in love with them.  I can't have a bad day, I mean.. really, they are wonderful!  Yes, I may be tired... I may hate how incredibly messy my house is.  I may need to shower more than I would like to admit.  But wow, I have never been so proud of myself in my entire life.  I am raising 2 amazing people with my best friend.  I am trying my best every day to be God's love.  I want my kids to look back and remember how much their Mommy loves them and how much she loves the Lord.  I am feeling blessed... so much more than I can say.

Happy 8 month birthday Bubs.

First meal.

I cooked spaghetti tonight.  I always make it with organic grass fed beef, organic green and red peppers, sauce and pasta... I was thinking of letting Brayden try it tonight, and blended it up... It didn't look all that great, but it tasted wonderful.  He seemed to enjoy himselfl after gagging on it a few times!

Visiting Friends.

We had a couple of visitors today.
They showed up uninvited.
And ate a lot of food.

Then suddenly left.

Without saying thank you.
We invited them back whenever they wanted.

Lots of catching up to do.

So many things have gone on lately.  We have been very much enjoying the gorgeous weather.  I took the kids on a walk in their wagon the other day and they had so much fun.  Brayden is such a big boy sitting in the wagon without any assistance (we had to "tie" him to the seat just a couple months ago).  Leah was adorable in her cute little sun hat.  They are so much fun.  I am head over heels in love with my kids.

We ordered bedroom furniture and accessories for the kids' rooms last week, and some of the packages already arrived.  Cavan cut up the boxes and made an indoor play house for Leah (even equipped with a slide!!).  She had so much fun.  She completely wore herself out going up and down the slide all morning.

I went to the Great Cloth Diaper Change yesterday with my friend, Jessica.  They didn't have one here, so we had to drive 2 hours south.  It was a big task with 2 babies (Brayden 7 months, and Evangeline 6 months) but it was so much fun.  We helped set the Guinness World Record for most cloth diapers changed simultaneously around the world.  They will have the exact number in a couple of weeks (it's over 10,000!).  There were 94 babies at our location... it was so great meeting so many other cloth diapering moms and dads.  They had raffles too.  My number got called but I was in lala land and didn't realize it until it was too late.  Oh well. My lunch was completely worth the trip all together (PANERA!).  Yumm!  I had a blast with Jessica, and hope we'll be able to do it again next year!

Since today was Easter we gave the kids their special Easter presents and headed to Grandma and Grandpa's house for church.  After church Leah and Aubrey had an Easter egg hunt.  It was so cute watching them gather all the eggs full of hair clips, bows, stickers, and even some yummy organic candy.  Leah had so much fun.  It's hard to believe next year Brayden will be joining in on the action.  Both kids took a super long nap, so we missed out on Easter dinner, but we enjoyed spending time together.  Enjoy the pictures!

Gymnastics!

Leah had her first experience with gymnastics on Thursday, and she really enjoyed herself.  Aubrey and Casandra came too, and the girls had so much fun!  They had a blast jumping on the long trampoline, sitting on every cute little chair there, going through tunnels, walking across the balance beam, hanging from the bars, and just being silly.  I do have to say, I think their highlight of the day was discovering what a water fountain was.  They laughed, and splashed water everywhere, it was so cute.  They also blew up this huge inflatable bouncy house.  The girls went crazy!  They were jumping, climbing up the stairs, and sliding down the slide (Leah's favorite thing ever!).  They were exhausted afterward!

Delko also got a hair cut.  Leah still loves him though.  Enough said....
